We go where 97% don't, opening pathways into places where billions of people have little or no access to the message of Jesus. We Train • Partner • Explore

Hard places are regions where:• few people have ever heard the message of Jesus
• very few Christians live
• outside missionaries face major barriers
• local believers often serve with little support3 billion people live in hard places.Yet these regions receive only a small fraction of the world’s missionaries and mission funding.Frontier Discovery Project exists to help change that.
Chart 1 — Where the Need Is
• 96% — People living in hard places
• 4% — People living where the gospel is widely accessibleChart 2 — Where Mission Effort Goes
• ~3% — Missionaries serving hard places
• ~97% — Missionaries serving places where the church already existsMost mission effort happens where the church already exists.
Frontier Discovery Project is committed to the hard places.

Train
We prepare people for long-term work in hard places through mentoring, field exposure, and hands-on training experiences both at home and abroad. Many short-term mission experiences inspire people but rarely lead to long-term service. Across the missions world, only about 1 in 500–1,000 participants eventually become long-term missionaries.Among those who train with Frontier Discovery Project, roughly 1 in 25–30 go on to serve long-term.

Partner
In many hard places, foreign missionaries face enormous barriers. But local believers often have access outsiders never will.Frontier Discovery Project works alongside trusted local leaders in sensitive regions, helping provide strategy, funding, and logistical support so the work can continue and grow.In some areas, these partners are the only known believers serving their communities.
Explore
Many hard places remain difficult to access.Through strategic trips and collaborative projects, Frontier Discovery Project works with local partners to explore new regions, build relationships, and start new ministry locations and churches. These efforts often help open new pathways for the gospel where none previously existed.
The Work So FarFrontier Discovery Project is still growing, but the impact is already visible.• 300+ people trained
• 10–12 now serving long-term in hard places
• partnerships with courageous local leaders in sensitive regions
• ongoing exploration into new frontier areasEvery year, new doors are opening.

Working in Sensitive RegionsFrontier Discovery Project focuses on some of the world’s most difficult regions — places where the message of Jesus is least known and access is often limited.Because many of these areas are sensitive, we do not publicly identify specific locations or partners. Our work currently includes:• training and preparation programs for people exploring long-term service
• partnerships with trusted local leaders in restricted or difficult regions
• collaborative projects exploring new access into frontier areasMuch of this work happens quietly, but the impact continues to grow.
Frontier Discovery Project is a Christian nonprofit focused on helping bring the message of Jesus to the hardest places on earth. We believe the global church has an opportunity — and a responsibility — to help ensure every community has access to the gospel.Through training, partnership with local leaders, and exploration into new regions, Frontier Discovery Project works to open pathways where few others are going.

Your support helps:• train pioneers preparing to serve in hard places
